trailing arms to leaf springs
ok i am a newb so bear with me. thanks for all the answers so far.
ihave a 68 c20 lwb that i want to swap to 1/2 ton. eventually swb heres my questions i found a complete 87 1/2 ton i know the front will bolt in. will the leafs from the 87 work on my 68 providing i take the brackets off and remove my trailing arms? also i found a local guy selling the brackets and springs from a 69 c10 . would that be easier since they are alsready off and no grinding of rivets? i want to lower my truck all around. doesnt have to drag rocker but just a nice stance. |

Re: trailing arms to leaf springs
Why do you want the leafs? The coil rear rides a million times better and hooks up power to the ground, and can be lowered so easy even I was able to do it.
Most people who want to swap to leafs do it for the ability to haul more weight, but being you want to lower it, that's pretty much out the window. |

Re: trailing arms to leaf springs
Is this C-20 super nice? Man...I'd find a different truck before I would undertake such a task. Why not sell the 20 and pick up a 10?
