Wiper Resivoir, do i need feed assist? who has the best cost/preformance parts?
hey all, ive got a new wiper motor with the sprayer motor thing attached, but i dont have a reservoir. wondering who makes a good kit for the reservoir. ive also noticed some of them have motors on the reservoirs, are these necessary? im not looking to spend more than $40 shipped on a kit but i suppose i could go 50 or so if its really worth it. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the pump on your wiper motor works, you don't need one in your bottle. Many times the gaskets in the old pumps need to be replaced though.
As for the bottle and hose price, well the hoses, bottle, cap, and bottle rack add up to about $35 at LMC Truck Parts (see page 159 of the online catalog). The gasket set is there too for $10. Now if looks don't matter, an empty soda bottle, some zip ties, and the right i.d. tubing will do ya. |
