need AC help

This is a little off topic for this board. I have a 94 Chevy with a V-6 I bought for a daily driver about 6 months ago. It is in great shape and only has 78K on it. The AC worked great when I bought it, but I tried to run the AC for the first time the other day and all I got was hot air. Any suggestions?

First check to see that the belt for the AC is there. Then check to see if the clutch is working. Have someone turn on the air while you look at it. If the clutch is not engaging you may have a leak or have lost power to it. If it is working, you will need to check the pressures to verify if it is low on freon. Hope this helps.
