quadrajet/ 700r4

Does a quadrajet carb need geometry bracketry of any kind when installing a 700r4? I have numerious oem gm brackets and 2 differant 700r4 cables. Cant get the 700r4 shifting correctly. Am I not setting up the adjustment propertly or is it impossible to setup with just the items i have? If i have a kickdown bracket and cable from the same vehicle, would it then work? Do I need geometry brackets? PLEASE and THANK YOU

Re: quadrajet/ 700r4

Just get a bracket and cable for that application. Trucks, Vans, and Caprices from '83-88 all had SB with Q-jet and 700R4 as an option.
