timing question 59 Apache 235

Howdy

A quick question about timing ... Just adjusted the timing in my Apache 235 to where the BB is about 1/4" before the timing "needle" on the bell housing. No actual degree marks that I could see like on a V8. I figure if the needle is TDC then a little bit before would be approx. 10 degrees BTDC.

Is this correct? Runs good!

Thanks!

Re: timing question 59 Apache 235

Found my fancy timing light w/ advance degree markings in the storage shed ... and it was right on So if youre ever curious, about 1/4" before the pointer is 10 degrees advanced
