Re: Spotted A Wrecker
The way people drive these days, I feel like putting one of those on all my vehicles.

Re: Spotted A Wrecker
That sure is a nice survivor! What was the asking price? I bet it didn't sell unless very cheap. Hard to sell things these days with the economy. I would think an old wrecker would be even tougher.

Re: Spotted A Wrecker
Yeah Ron,I still have mine. I like that small grille guard, too,if that's what was meant. It looked to be original with the seat bottom replaced and in need of rockers and cab corners. The price was pretty high,I think, but that's how most list stuff at these shows. They had $6,500 on it. Personally,I don't see why one of these would be priced any less than an average shortbed in same condition...if not more. Sure it's a narrower marker, but it's also a narrower availability. And,these are just way too cool whether you get it or not. They are the center piece to the entire garage scene and as much a piece of automobilia as a vintage gas pump, signage,or any other service station/auto repair item from days gone by. Times have changed from the day when a shop had it's own tow vehicle, just like milk delivery and doctors making house calls. I'd rather roll into a cruise night or show in one of these wearing greasy coveralls and a welding cap than a slammed dually converted pickup wearing a Hawaiian shirt and straw hat
