Stock Ride Height - 86 Suburban 4wd

Does anyone know the stock ride height for an 86 Suburban 4wd and how best to measure? I have the apparently common read end sag but am not sure truly how bad it is. I need to put new shocks on but assume if the leafs are sagging too far I will just wear out the new rear shocks too fast.

Thanks, e

Does anyone have the same vehicle still stock (not lifted with 15" wheels and orginal tire size) that could measure their ground to wheelwell distance in the back?

Re: Stock Ride Height - 86 Suburban 4wd

I had 22 1/8 front, 20 1/8 rear.

I installed spring over shocks and gained an inch in rear ride height, so I am now sitting at 22 1/8 front, 21 1/8 rear. I still want at least another inch in the back.
