How do I test a tach?
I just bought a gauge cluster with a tach. I'd like to test it before I put any time or money into making it pretty. How do I test it out of the truck with my HEI distributor?
Thanks!

Re: How do I test a tach?
Run a hot, a ground and a wire to the tach terminal on the HEI. Id ground the metal base of the cluster....The back of the cluster should show you the wire connections to the tach, the one I have does.
