throttle issue questions
My truck sat up for 6 years and when I went and got it, I noticed the throttle is extremely tight and when I press the pedal is doesn't go down very fair. If I floor it, it sticks on occasion. I'm thinking its the cable. What's your guesses? Also how complicated is changing the cable and where can I get it? Also its a 84 c-10 with a 305 but the 355ci is patently waiting to be dropped in

Re: throttle issue questions
Check for rust around the throttle linkage on the carb. If it sat for 6 years, the linkage is prolly seized. Take some WD-40 to it and see if it helps.
