Interested, Is this one similar to the one I missed out on the other day? Did you rebuild it like the other?

Yes: The only thing different is the hazzard button has the rare red button on side.

Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

Well if it is in as good a shape as the other one I will take it.

Any chance you can go $350 shipped to Atlanta?

PM me with the payment details.

Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

Hi, I do my best to build these columns. I am selling my columns at a reasonable price and when this column sells it will be the last true truck column that I have. There will be 3 or so more columns that I will finish that will have truck/van columns with the longer shaft and higher safety/ reverse switch. Nice column and hard to find. Thanks Don

Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

Wow, How many times do you have to say "I will take it" before the seller acknowledges it...

I want to thank member Mahanian for pointing this out, but it is confusing why a Mod felt the need to delete his post... guess the board condones a seller allowing one member to snake a deal out from under another....

Red face Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

In my opinion, number98 was not committed ... he said he would take it but wanted it for less ... so he was negotiating. The other interested party made a full offer (which equaled commitment) and so I sold him the part. I meant no wrongdoing. I am new at this but doing my best. Thanks. Don

Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

After reading this thread, I can see how the seller made the decision to sell to WETOWM. Saying "I will take it" and then asking if the seller will take a lower price after the fact is still negotiating.

A Moderator did not remove Mahanian's post, an Administrator did. It is not the job of board members to moderate threads. If someone feels like they got a "bad deal", we have a forum for that located here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=122

Re: 67 72 truck tilt column

And that is all I was saying... No "favoritism" or back patting... just have talked to WETOWM personally and can vouch that he is a guy who knows what he wants...when he wants it...When he did not want what I had... He told me flat out...thanks anyways...

If ya'll have an issue with a judgement call, please PM and let me know. Or if you are not comfortable with that, PM Josh and talk to him.

As said, the user offered a lower price, the second user offered the full price.. The seller is NOT obligated to sell for less because someone said I'll take it if shipping is etc..

And also as said, the post was removed, as we ask members to use the report a post button and not to moderate in threads.

Thanks.
