Parking brake adjustment
I got the light to work but the brake doesn't grab. The brake was serviced recently so I think it's fine inside the drum. The cable under the cab has a lot of play and can flop around. I've read about a bolt/nut to tighten the cable but I'm not seeing it. Can someone tell me what I'm looking for?

Re: Parking brake adjustment
The nut/bolt is where [on 1982? and up] the two rear cables from the drums meet together, about 2 feet from the rear axle on the driver's side.

Re: Parking brake adjustment
Yep. The end with one cable going into it should be threaded with a nut on it. Just give it a good tighten. 1/2" wratcheting wrench works wonders!

Re: Parking brake adjustment
Tightened it up and it's good to go.
Thanks!
