It just hit me !! Now I know what the problem is with them eight foot bed owner's !!! There kind of like the middel child. Not a Longhorn not a Short Bed but the middle bed. lol .Sorry it just came to my head. O.K-O.K I'm moving on. Nice work on a nice truck. Nick

I had either a 69 or 70 Chevy like that once but it was called a Camper Special not longhorn that is the emblems it had on it anyway.

yeah, your SPID says CAMPER NAMEPLATE. probably why there arent any Longhorn emblems on it. It should have Camper Special under the windows, right?

Like i said above, there were 3 part numbers for the longhorn badges. All 3 Longhorn beds I've owned (two were '70, one was a 71 maybe a 72) had glue on badges. I am pretty sure the 68 was a bolt on badge, but not 100% sure on that.
