I bought a 77 front suspension to hang under my 64 short stepper. It has the 5 lug bolt pattern with disc brakes etc.
What are you guys doing to the rear end? Are you changing the axels over to 5 bolt or are you changing out the complete rear assembly? If you are changing, what are you using? |

most change the compleat axle but I opted to just order moser axles 40% stronger and then you can get what ever bolt pattern you want. you can get 5on5 and just get 71 and up rear drums or do like i did and get 5 on 4 3/4 and use late 60's car 11x2 drums that way you can get the wheels cheaper caus more people buy them. I wanted to run drag lites and car wheels are wider and more avalible but that was just what i wanted. if your going large rims then you'll be fine with the truck bolt pattern
