lowering a stepside
I know we talked about this before, but looking for some more information. I installed a 4" drop with shackles in the back, and I had to cut the bed support. Is is OK to just cut the end off the support, or should I reinforce it at all, the way I had to notch it, there is no strength in it, so I might as well cut the end off. your thoughts

I put a 4" drop on my 74 stepper. I just removed that crossmember that's in the way. Doesn't hurt a thing.
