Tube bender is finally done
Got some plans off the Internet and built this thing about a year ago. Finally got the dies in for it and is sure does a fine job. This is 1.5" x .095 wall tube that even has a seam in it. I know, I know, I will use D.O.M when i figure out how to use it. This tube was only 17.00 for a 20' joint. It sure is nice having good tools that you build yourself.

Looks like it did a pretty good job. How much you have in the bender?

Re: Tube bender is finally done
The main tubes are 1/4 wall 2x2 and some 1/2 x 3 flat plate. With me doing all the machining and fab I only have about 300.00 including the air over hydraulic cylinder. The dies I have about 300.00 in because they will bend to about 240 degrees. I did smooth some of the sections when welding, but once you have all the machine work done you could weld it together easily in a day.
