WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
Looking for a Roch 2 barrel carb in good working condition.
Would like one with a manual choke that I can bolt on and know it will work properly. Please LMK condition and price including shipping to 08753. Thanks Scott

Re: WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
I have a Rochester two barrel that I just removed from a small block 400. Engine came from a '72 Caprice station wagon that I am using for a project. Has a divorced choke and is in excellent condition, but probably needs a kit from sitting inside for the last several years. I can get pictures if your interested.

Re: WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
There are 2 different size bases on those. The small one was used on the 265-283. The larger one on the bigger/later engines. I have some of the smaller ones with manual choke. It would need to have a kit put in as they have been setting for a long time.

Looks like the other guys have what you really need, so I'm going to back off unless I hear differently.

Re: WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
Mike, thanks for the pics. Would be great if u could take pic of the one on the 68 307.
The others look to be a bit rough and they dont have manual choke so will pass on those. Thanks Scott

Re: WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
Does the one you want have the fuel intake line in front like in the photos or on the side? I will get a photo of mine tomorrow.

Re: WTB: Rochester 2 barrel carb
i still have the one off my 72 burb 307. it is hot air choke and includes the intake manifold. i threw a rebuild kit in it but i think it needs just a little tuning (not my forte) to run perfect. only been off the truck since spring 2010 when i switched to a Q-jet. $100 shipped to your door.
