Question

hello anyone? more info... It is located under the front driver bedside and the filler comes out near the top of the beside directly behind the cab tank filler. It mounts throught the bed floor with 3 carriage bolts that go through hollow tubes in the tank and are about a foot long. the nuts are countersunk inito the tubes also and have a 3/8 drive ratchet hole in them.

The factory tank wa 14 gallons and had a sender in the tank with a knob on the far left of the dash. My 72 Cheyenne 4x4 that I owned since new, had the option. The 72 that Im planning to buy today, has the option. The good thing about the option is that it looked clean. The filler was just behind the cab filler but on the bed, like a Blazer, but in the front end of the driverside. Where to find these parts, I couldnt even guess unless you get lucky in a wrecking yard or find a truck like i just did that has it already as an option.. Good Luck

I have one or two of those fac aux tanks with the hardware (no dash knobs & no bolts--you have to make those). If you are ever up this way, stop in. I sell a good used tank & package for $150.

Oh, and notice that the 72 BB/AT/PS/PB truck I have for sale has this option. Motor doesn't run. New exh mans & pipes. $1,500. Can't get the pic on here, so next frame should do it.
