Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

Looks pretty good.
Though it's been repainted, and when they did the paint and body they removed all the side trim. Driver side looks better than the passenger side.

Would have liked to see a pic of the engine compartment.

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

I may be wrong on this but I thought that the in-dash A/C wasn't available in a Burb until the 1972 model year. To back that up it looks as if someone typed in the word air on the one side of the spid and brake booster on the other side. Am I paranoid?

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

Do the GMC's have a (-) dash in the VIN?

Other than color, it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for...3/4, 4x4, 4sp. And it's a solid original truck.

So what's not to like?

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

The 2 options look like they were typed in as an afterthought, as they are a different font. But....how would you type those in if the SPID were already attached to the glovebox door? If the parts are all there, and they function I would not even care.

It is a gmc , so no.
I also noticed the different font on the last 2 items. As leddzepp said, if the parts are there and working... It looks like a nice ride to me.

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

Seems to be a totally different VIN listed in the add. Typo?

Truck looks to have been on the road by the number of travel stickers in the windows...yet no hitch?

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

Looks to be a really nice rig.....I wonder if the different font could have been Dealer installed items, and the dealer added to the sheet?

How would they add to the sheet once it has already been affixed to the glovebox door?

Just grasping at straws here, but maybe the decal is affixed to the glovebox door until after the dealer has added equipment?

SPID's were typed up at the factory prior to the dealer receiving the truck.

Re: Is This Burb Righteous?

Well, what do I know.. The Burb sold for 9500.00 and the buyer only made one bid at the end of the auction with 15 seconds left on the auction which tells me he/she knows how to bid on Ebay and I guess were comfortable with the condition of the Burb and paid accordingly.
