Changing axles?
Right now I have a 12-bolt with 2.76 non-posi that I'm wanting to change to a 3.73 posi. I found another 12-bolt from a similar vintage K10, 6-lug axle, and has the 4.10 posi I want (I can just change the r&p to 3.73). My truck is 2WD so it has 5-lug axles
Would I be able to just swap the axles from my truck into the rear end from the K10? I'm considering because it's far cheaper to get this recently-rebuilt (and complete) posi than it is to swap new hardware into my existing housing
