WTB: Tan steering wheel for 71

I realize this is a longshot but tossing it out there. I could spend $250 and get one at LMC and will most likely end up doing so but if someone has one in decent shape (a few cracks ok but it should be presentable) then let's talk.

This is for a 71 Custom Deluxe with parchment interior. I'm guessing by the color of the column that the original wheel was tan. If someone knows better please correct me.

The color that you need to go with the parchment interior is "Sandalwood". I think the one LMC sells is Saddle.

That is a VERY tough part to find. I looked for a few years and the only really nice one I saw was on a low-mile fire truck that was not for sale. Good Luck and be persistent!!

Thanks, I ended up finding a very nice OEM black one on the Parts forum here, which I will have dyed some day. For now it's on the truck in black and looks a heck of a lot better than what was on there.

Is this the color you were looking for? (Dantip or Midlifer) I had one with no cracks then it was damaged in shipping...one small crack below the main cross piece but still very nice. Had it sold on here for 300 before the crack....working on the UPS shipping claim now and once it's settled I'll be selling it but for less of course...

That definitely looks like Saddle. Sandalwood is lighter. Thanks though.
