Whats the shelf life on tires???
found some NOS tires of the same brand and size I want for allot less on ebay but ill get no road hazzard [ always bought it but never used it] but the build dates are from
1997 & 1998 Whats the shelf life on tires??? [big name brand, not generic] |

If I remeber correctly 5 years is the recommendation, but I run tires from much older than that. If they were stored inside from the elements I would say that they are probably still good just a little stiff. On trick to help soften them is soak them down with ATF for a couple days.

I would run them. If they are not cracked, or flat spotted to bad.
