Relatively easy i thought.... moved it around three inches to the left to center up the steering coulum, and had to add 6" to the passenger side

alot of work, but maybe one of the coolest mods i've ever done. people at shows really seem to like it, even non truck people notice how cool it is .
i cut mine in middle and widen it about 4.5 inches built new slot for
new style radio and also used oem style hvac controller

Re: pics of 59-60 impala dash in your c10

layedout68,
all trim i hand formed from 6061 aluminum drilled and taped with # 4-40
studs and nuts to install. dash trim and top of door panel was 1/4 X 1/2
and the door panel trim was 1/4 x 1/4 . start sanding with a d.a. sander with
240 grit paper follow sanding with 400 dry 600 wet 800 wet 1000 wet
1500 wet then 2000 wet then you can hand rub mothers billet polish with
microfiber to mirror finish or you can use a buffer. i have found this system works better by hand on smaller or bent pieces as the buffer will try to rip the piece from your hand regardless the speed or location on buffing wheel
good luck
