Talking WTB: BBC Motor Mount Straps

I was reading a post the other day that showed these cable tie-downs on a small block chevy truck. I happen to have a 70 chevy truck with a 500HP 468 running original big block hardware. I want a set of those straps but don't want to pay a lot for them. They'd make a neat conversation piece anyways. I would like a very clean set/rust free/or NOS. I need all hardware and brackets so there's no guesswork involved. Who likes guesswork?

If ya can't find the straps...3/8ths chain to the frame met the restraint requirement at North Star Dragstrip. Always got the crowds attention at Porky's too.

What did GM call these restraints anyways? It's time to start the E-Bay search. What's the best way to search for these things? I would use chains but don't want to scratch my frame up. That's why it'd be nice to have the original cables with loops.

I know exactly what your talking about,it was for faulty motor mounts that broke to keep your accelerator from sticking, ive seen many cars in the boneyard with them, and parted out several things with them.I see them in 73ish style Novas,Camaros,Chevelles,Impalas all the time at the junkyard.chances are you will need to make your own to fit your big block truck.Basically just cable with looped ends.
