50's truck on TV Wednesday night

There is a show called Wheeler Dealers on Velocity I believe this Wednesday night featuring a 50's truck.

Just saw the ad and they will be doing some engine mods on the old straight 6.

Is that the English guy that does the rattle can paint jobs? I thought I saw he was coming to the US.

I've never heard of the show. So, I checked it out on youtube. You can see the whole episode on youtube (in 4 parts)

Great watch but to bad they went through the effort of replacing some parts with new and reinstall the rusty old parts with no cleanup??

That's kinda the point of the show - they flip old cars for as cheaply as possible, while making quality safe repairs. They usually work on a very tight budget, often barely breaking even.

But DAMN - Mike looks like he put on about 40 lbs!

Good show, they didn't add in there labor. They must be just like us and do it for the fun. Truck turned out to nice. I liked the idea of power coating the bed rails. I noticed they removed the headliner, I don't know these trucks that well, but is there enough room to put the sound deader up there?
I don't get that channel, so I'll just keep checking youtube. Thanks for the link.

There is all kinds of room in the headliner for insulation and a headliner

the stock headliner sits a good 3-4 inches from the top of the cab
