I think it was kinda funny when I looked at it I was viewer #420. Funnyt because I think that the seller is high and not just the price. It is in good shape but no 60,000 bones good shape.

I want a panoramic rear window! was the TC shift pattern label attached to the roof like that? The arrow is pointing the wrong direction.

Yes....it was GM's policy to have the 3rd owner move the label from the glovebox to the roof.

You'd think for 75K you would lock that thing down in a garage, not a tent style car port.

Yeah, but you would also think that someone with a $75,000 truck wouldn't live in a trailer park. BTW, is that guy taking a leak?

Actually, the shift pattern WAS on the roof at least thru 69 and probably 70 too. The spicer locking hub sticker was on glovebox. In 71 they put the shift pattern on the tcase knob and did away with the sticker.

The RV mirror looks incorrect however.

Here is the spicer locking hub sticker from a 67.

I think he needs to slice a "0" off the price.

Where's the engine pics??? 2bbl 327...ok, lets see it.

If he's selling that for that much money he'd better have every single part number and casting number of every single part on that truck written down and described on this site in painful detail. He would have had to go to every garbage dump, junk yard and transfer station along where this truck has been since 1968 and collect every single part that was taken off and discarded to complete original factory condition before I'd spend that much money...

...and I still wouldn't.

totally agreed, cobalt. he needs more proof that the vehicle is worth that much. more pics would be in order. he will never sell it at that price with those pics.

cant tell if its overpriced because there is not enough information. based on what he has shown there - it is way too much. knock of a zero, dude!

I was under the impression that this went along with the change from the T-221 to the NP205. Being a 68, that truck would have a T-221, a plain shift knob, and a sticker on the ceiling. I thought in '69 when they switched to teh NP205, that it had the shift pattern on the knob.

Nope, if you have a pre-71 with the shift pattern on the knob, it was swapped in at some point. Has nothing to do with the t-case type. BTW, rockwells were installed in some 69's too.

Those are the same mirrors on my '69 K5. I just got them from the truckshop last Christmas. I don't think they are RV mirrors

Oops. Potato, Potahto. I was referring to the Rear View (RV)mirror inside cab, not an outside Recreational Vehicle (RV) mirror on the door.

Thats what I get when I try to save typing time.

Shouldn't the lettering in the tailgate be painted? If so then it's not the original factory paint and in my opinion not a completely original truck.

Is that rust I see on the front passenger wheel. There's not very many vehicles I'd pay $60k for if I could afford it, and (sorry guys) an old pickup isn't one of them...in any condition.
