'71 Blazer door strike color?

Does anyone know what color the door strikes were painted at the factory? Body color? Black? Raw with clear coat?

All of my blazers have been black oxide looking, like the hood hinges. Awhile back I went scrounging the salvage yard for some nice ones, and all of the pickup cabs I looked at, were painted over from the factory.

I think Turp is correct.
I looked at my original 72 and the door strikers appear to be a black oxide.
