Re: new to forum, lookin for info
When GM went to the one piece windshield in 54/55 1st series they also changed the frame and bed to the Task Force stuff. So the bed was used up until 1986 with mods for fenders, tailgate logos, width and length.
The aftermarket has what you need for a price. BTW the aftermarket has a kit for the mounts to install an AD on a S-10 chassis. Check out the build threads. |

I already built all my own brackets for the cab and motor. Just have to figure out the bed sides. I figured any stepside bed might work just modify it.

Let me know what measurements you are looking for and I will try to go out and get them for you. My bed is in bare metal and off the truck so I should be able to help you out.

What I need is from bottom to the bend at the top of the bed sides. Front and back if they are different. I would appreciate it

Re: new to forum, lookin for info
My dad had a 54 short wheelbase with a 55-2nd step side bed on it.
