Disc Brake conversion question
I have searched for this and can't find an answer, I have power drum brakes on my 67 when I switch over to disc's do I need to change the brake lines from the prop valve that run down to the frame?

Re: Disc Brake conversion question
Yes.
Your drum brake truck has a distirbution block. (not a proportioning valve) You will need a disc brake proportioning valve and the steel lines will be different.

Re: Disc Brake conversion question
I'm curious about this as well. I just finished everything for my disc/drum conversion and was disappointed when I figured out the fittings on the distribution block are different from the prop. valve.
Are there different year hard lines that can be used? Can I just use adapters? Do I need to bend/flare my own? Anyone know what size tube/fitting is needed?
