wtb: 12 bolt backing plates

i'm looking for the brake backing plates off a 12 bolt rearend! needing them to upgrade my rearend in my 64! any help would be great! thanks in advance!!

would one off of a 6 lug or 5 lug 68-72 rear work? I have no idea but have a 68 and a 72 12 bolt rears.

dang man let me check my scrap bin at the shop. I just threw some in there figured know one had any use for them. ill let you know tomorrow

qksilver, those are the same drum pad surface as the ones i have! i heard you can get the backing plates off of an 76-87 12 bolt rearend and the brake pad surface will increase for better brakes, and it will not change the offset or anything!! thanks for the offer!

its ok guys, i got a lead on a whole rearend for under $50! i got a question for you guys, the rearend i can get is a 6 lug 12 bolt out of a 80's 4x4 burban, my question is would it be a posi rearend since its a 4x4??

If you want to wait I saw a 68 LWB 1/2 ton on pick a part yesterday and I'll there this Friday again.
