No bump stops on front suspension???
Hi everyone i noticed in every pic i have seen people take off there front suspsnsion bump stops when running air bags. Why is this? To have it go lower? Or no room for them anymore? Also the bumps stops are also the steering linkage stops so what keeps the wheels from turning real sharp??
*On a mission to lay body with still the original 4 way drum brakes *

It is my beleif that most steering gear boxs have built in stops. I know some do and some dont!! I will be running bump stops if needed. I am going to have such a wide range of travel as i am using tubular arms with a notched c member and air bags. I have seen some real small bump stops being made so no matter what the size is you should be able to get some if you need them.

I have them on my trucks. No matter how low you are trying to go, I suggest a small stop be used. It is much better to have your truck supported by the frame resting on a stop rather than the frame itself....
