1972 blazer long trip ?

Has any one out there taken a blazer with the soft top on a long highway trip? I am thinking of taking mine on a long trip 6,000+ miles and wonder about the soft top noise level etc. I don't really want to take the hard top. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I just did a 750 mile trip this weekend...went out to the desert where it was about 110 (have A/C) damn hot...
Ran out there with the top on and if you get going above 70mph it gets a little loud inside…when I was out there driving around (dove hunting) it was nice up to 55mph with the sides and back off…
I would say if you can keep it under 60mph it would be a good trip…but if your like me and run around 70-75mph+ then it will beat up…
