Flowmaster poll what do you like?

Hey Guys i have been a member on here for awhile now and wanted to collect your guys opinions. Im currently in school in wyoming and lookin to do some work to my old 72 super come may this year. This is what i got a 1987 chevy 350 with aftermarket cast iron ceterbolt heads, performer intake, edelbrock 600 cfm carb and hooker headers. I wanna do a complete exhaust on the truck in may from headers to the bumper. I was thinkin 2 and 1/2 inch true dual but dont have any idea on mufflers. I do like the sound of flowmasters tho, i kinda want a head turning exhaust. I will be thankful for any help with the exhaust guys so tell me what you have heard.

Thanks, Super C10

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

morning, I run headers into 2 1/2 straight to two chamber flowmasters.... they dump right down to the ground 3" after the outlet of the flows... sounds freaking awsome... I was going to run the exhaust all the way back to the bumper but when my buddy did his all the way back with same set up it really made his too quiet and he lost that rumble at stop lights and it didn't sound as good when he hammered it....but that is just my opinon...and there will be many different ones ...enjoy

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

I've got Flowmaster Super 40's dumped out behind the tire. They sound sweet. I may never use a set of glass packs again.

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

I think you will be happy with any flowmaster you choose, I had 2 chambers with 2 1/2" pipe previously and sounded good, this time I went with 3 chambers and 3" pipe and its a tough call on which sound I like better

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

I have 2 1/2 inch out the back with dual flowmaster super 44s and i love the sound. I would totally recommend them over a glass pack. A little more expensive but worth it.

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

I went with Magnaflows on my BB truck, and I'm tellin ya.. Flow Masters sound good but Magnaflows are different enough to make people wonder what you have. Just my .02, Everyone has Flow Masters. I just wanted something different.

You owe it to yourself to check them out too. Nothing against Flowmaster, but, just sayin ..

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

10 series single chambers here. Probably a little louder then what you are wanting.

Re: Flowmaster poll what do you like?

I know this is a flow-master poll thread, & just to be fair if I went with flow-master I would go with the 44's

But I went with SPINTECH, they sound great & are built like a tank!
here are some video my son and I made with our flipcam.

"ignore the slipping belt screech... it was having a bad hair day :-) "
