67 gmc newbie
ok guys i need a little help i have a 67 gmc 1/2 ton and i got a little problem i was able to get the speedometer to work now i just need the fuel gauge to work... i have a full tank of gas and the needle is reading below empty... i took it out and moved the needle to full put it all back together and it just dropped... this is my first project truck so im gonna need a lil help ill try to put pictures of it up

check your float inside the tank..The bag maybe bad.

Being a '67 C10 owner myself, I say congrats on the find. What kind of heat is she packin'?
Regarding the gas guage, it could be a number of things. The best thing to do is just start at the needle and trace everything all the way back to the tank. It's not as easy as just knowing what it is and doing a quick fix, but going through your project this way will get you more familiar with your pickup...kind of like the dating process. Before you know it, you'll be head over heels in love. In the mean time, you can always swerve a little and listen to how much sloshing goes on behind the seat |

Yah iv had several ppl say it might be the float and then I got a 327 wit a 3 speed it was on the tree and the po put it on the floor... I did a lil body work on it today and yes im in love with it I have big plans for it lol and I picked it up for 600
