Got some blocks from Boris

Nice quality 2 inch lowering block kit with U bolts. I think it will work well.

Re: Got some blocks from Boris

Only about an hour, even did some cleaning and painting while I was at it. Fortunately the old U-bolts came off with an impact.

What are the advantages of doing this vs changing the springs out? I guess the panhard rod doesn't need to be changed.

Thanks, I thought it would be a good way to lower the truck a little bit, simple and cheap.

Advantages: Easy installation, no need to remove springs, low cost, truck keeps original load capacity, just a little less suspension travel. I measured the centering of the axle before and after, and it made almost no change, so no need to mess with the track bar.

Disadvantage, U-bolts and trailing arms are closer to the ground.
