72 chevy wiring

I have a 72 pickup that does not currently run, but i have a throttle body 5.7 out of a 1990 chevy pickup. Wiring has me a little bit scared so if anyone has some advice it would be much appreciated.

If you have the ECM then you'll probably be money and time ahead to get a conversion harness like this one.

Otherwise, you can ditch the TBI and get a manifold/carb setup. Hell, you might be able to use the SBC setup you already have...but I'm not sure on this.
