That does look great! Nice job. Did you take the glass out? Care to share any tips/tricks?

Thanks, all. The trick was I had never painted anything upside down before. I found that by using an old suction feed spray gun with the cup on backwards, I was able to spray straight up! Worked pretty well.

Paint is urethane mixed by NAPA.

Re: And I painted the inside

I did the paint job with the glass in, but I had it out earlier to paint the pinch welds.

Thanks, wasn't sure how the pros do it. I think they use guns that are pressure fed through a hose from a larger tank of paint, so the gun will work at any angle. My way should work for the do it yourselfer!

Beautifully done, very smart. Thanks for sharing.
One of my favorite colors, does it change hue under different light conditions? My 586 seamist green seems to, every picture I take with my camera is a different color. I really like that (not the camera part, just the fact that it always looks different).

It's 518, the original color of the truck. I like the color because it's not something you see a lot of these days, and no metallic. I don't like to spray metallics because I have trouble with streaking. No basecoat/clearcoat either.
