My recent research says 67-68, 70, 71-72 each have different style gas caps with different filler neck styles, sizes, and vented or non vented. And possibly even so far as different c10 from c20.
I have a 72 c20, I know nothing about the gas caps so I made you a visual aid. but it looks like you sent a long mount the lower two fit into the filler neck but the upper two do not catch the locking guides and there is 1/4-1/2 inch diameter differences between gas cap and filler neck sides
