Drove the 66 today
The first drive ever was done by the wife. She said her truck,her shake down drive.
I could not believe the courage she had. Got in started it,Put it in gear and drove off! No hood, no lights no horn, cobb webs dusty seat and junk yard truck smell. 35 year tires ( look Brand new) She did ask how to release the e brake. Down the road we go, She had a big smile, I had a bigger smile.. Perfect first drive What a women!

Hi neighbor in Alpine.
Drove to Chula from Lakeside today. What agreat feeling something was headed to the junk yard is now on the road. Might need to go thru the front end sooner or later.
