Got to meet one of our members Sat.

CaptRMW (Roger) and his lovely wife paid me a visit on Saturday, we swapped parts and stories and got to check out each other's trucks. He drove his beautiful CST 10 up, man what a nice truck! Check out the pictures. The paint job is stunning, I don't think my camera could do it justice.
It was a pleasure meeting these folks, some of the nicest people I've ever met. Once again being a member of this forum pays off! Looking forward to finishing my truck up and driving down to Tarpon and snagging some fish.
Thanks Capt.

Captain Roger gets around...on land and sea. That's cool you met him. We did some hangin' at Carlisle Trucks last summer. Matter of fact,I gave him a corner of a table to set a few things he had to sell (steering wheels, etc). Always a great time when members gather.

Looks better in person, sounds like it should run pretty good too.

Re: Got to meet one of our members Sat.

I have been enjoying this truck for 21 years and 279,000 miles. About a month before Trucking Carlisle we went to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, S. Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania. and back to Maryland 7500 miles of seeing the USA in a Chevrolet. Pictures are at the Hoover Dam and one at Lost Wages. (lucky I had enough left for a Mc D's hamburger) Thanks for all of the kind comments. Capt. Roger

Hey Roger, could you explain to the others your bed System? Pretty trick. It's hard to tell in that last picture, but in between those tool boxes is a bed cover.

Enjoyed meeting him at the Super Chevy Show this last summer. His truck is very nice and his toolbox/storage setup is super cool!

The matching diamond plate aluminum cover is attached to a wood frame and slides in a groove on all 3 boxes, closing the tailgate against the rubber bumpers holds it securely in place. The cover is not watertight but very water resistant. A "wake the dead" Viper alarm along with a fully loaded 357 magnum goes a long way toward keping the lowlifes from getting their crab scratchers on my loot under this cover. ..Roger

I admire you sir, very much...you are living proof of what I always believed, that seeing the USA in your Truck or any other well restored classic is still possible...and enjoyable, regardless of age & regardless of fuel costs.

It would be lovely to see more pics of your Truck on it's travels around the States.
