Frame Question
I have installed my from and rear dropmember and was getting ready to install the transmission crossmenber so I set my ride height again and I noticed that the driver side of the truck was about half an inch higher than the passenger side in the front. The truck was level from front to back and side to side. I am hoping that my frame is not twisted. I am looking for advice on what to do next to see if my frame is indeed twisted. By the way I have a 1963 c10.

Re: Frame Question
Do you have the front and rear bags plumbed individually?
Or are they Tee'd together?

Re: Frame Question
Maybe one bag has a little more air that the other up front.
With them tee'd together they can transfer air between them.

Re: Frame Question
I thought that too so I completely layed the frame out on a level floor. The section under the cab is completely on the floor and the front section of the frame just in front of the Dropmember is about a 1/2 an inch higher on the driver side.

Re: Frame Question
When I installed my front drop member the frame felt really soft on one side when I picked it up. Talking to nate he said it would be fine, these frames have a lot of twist in them. Did you tighten the dropmember bolts when the frame was level and plumb? After I kept adding components to the frame the worries went away in mine. You may want to talk to nate just to assure yourself, that is what I did.

Re: Frame Question
It is a old truck and back when these trucks was new they was used as a truck,It could be the frame is bent a tiny bit from use or maybe a wreck years ago.

Re: Frame Question
I would expect a little "tweek" to the frame due to being used as a truck but when it is layed out the front bumper makes the 1/2" look like a lot more. Does anyone know if there is something to do to make the bumper look more straight?

Re: Frame Question
You could adjust the bumper but then it might not look level tho.
