bed weight?
I need to move the bed for paint. What does it weight? How should I do it? Short bed. thanks

I don't know, but my longbed was moved by me and 2 others, It was heavy.
Jack it up ( or lift if you got a buddy) and block it. Keep doing that until it clears the truck, and drive out from under it. You gotta unbolt it of course...

long bed....HEAVY!!!! really really stinkin heavy...we moved it with 4 guys and we were strugglin....HEAVY!

i JUST bought a bed from a wrecking yard about 2 hours away & we had to trailer it home - we had to lift off the truck, flip it over & place it on the flatbed. It was heavy (like 400lbs+), & awkard (try flipping it over!)
