I Won the Ebay auction

I am a happy man. This is what I've wanted for a while now, a CST with a V8 and 3 on the tree with factory air and best of all its black with a bit of patina The factory overdrive and speed sensor are a bonus as is the factory tach. My plan is to leave the truck original except to modernize the A/C. I have a set of 6 hole rallys that I could put on the truck and what do you guys think, leave the hubcaps or upgarde to the rallys.

Yea neat colors and an interesting truck. Look forward to hearing more about it when you get it home.

Have both set of rolling stock. Change with your mood.

Does anyone know, will this truck have 4:10's because of the overdrive ?

Nice survivor looking truck there Already Gone! Would ya, could ya be any happier with a correct one year set of matching bucket seats, you could pick'em up on your way by to get the truck? This is by far, the nicest set of original un-restored buckets that I have came across to date. These factory option #A50 truck buckets were removed from a 69 Chevy CST/30 cab & chassis mitchell motorhome with only 42K on the clock, they are the 69 only dark red or what some guys call maroon. I also have the matching factory bucket seat floor pan with the original bucket only bracing underneath, the floor pan is RUST FREE and was removed complete rocker to rocker. Lmk, Mel

Ya know buckets are an option I'd love. Now do you have the matching console, I'm thinking seeing the seats were from a motorhome the console would have deleted from the factory or removed at the motorhome conversion place. I guess it depends on what you want for them. Mel please PM me a a price on the seats along with your phone number? I'm probably going to have the truck shipped so I'd have to figure out how to get the seats home, and I'm not going to stick them in the back of the truck for the ride home.

Yes, you are correct, this 69 mitchell was the walk through version motorhome w/o a console. I would have to have a look at the floor pan, but I am fairly sure it never had one when it left GM as a cab/chassis. Since these buckets were found w/o a matching console, I have found and stripped a clean seatbelt style console and painted it in as close as I could find SEM napa red. For some reason I was thinking you were straight North of me, and if dropping by didn't work out for ya, I was thinking I could get them up I-5 to the Seattle/Marysville WA. area, but now after a quick google search I see that wouldn't work out. Mel

Mel, I really would like the seats and I have a console, not red and needs to be restored. In April I am planning a trip to California for the Pomona Swap meet and could stop in Portland ( I know its the long way around) and pick them up on the way home. If I dont go to Pomona I can jump in my Tahoe wheh the snow is gone and come get them then. We need to talk and I can call you now as I see you are on line and I'm at work. PM me your number and I'll call right away.

Congratulations!! I'm willing to bet the truck has 3.73s. As far as wheels go...I say most definitely keep the wheel covers (it's all original, right?) and get correct narrow whitewalls. No ifs, ands,or butts. Oh,and paint the outer edge of the wheels red so that little bit shows between the wheel cover and tire...classic!

Very nice truck. I would keep the hubcaps, but I do agree that the other wheels would look great too.
