First day of school funny

My son Sam starts his first day of pre-school today. The teacher gave us a list of things to send along with my son the first day which is today one of which is his back pack along with a few other items. Last night, he was packing up for his first day and my wife said he could pack a book of his choice to take along with him. She said he passed up his bookshelf with all of his picture books, fairytales, etc and walked in to my study and returned with his back pack. Later she called me into his room after he fell asleep and showed me that he picked one of my LMC catalogs insted of his other books. Had to laugh when the wife said "can you say brainwashing?". Just had to laugh and though I'd let you know.

Gotta start em young, and looks like you did ok! My daughter is 2, and screams for me when I go outside to work on my truck. She's not happy unless she is sitting in the front seat while I'm in the engine. Hey, there's a new thread to start. Our trucks, and our kids.

Smile

Kids can never go wrong learning about these trucks from their dads, (or mom's)!

My seven yr old ran into the house yesterday to tell mom the big news. I was only going to fix one more thing before I got the truck running and drove it.

Of course my list of things to fix is way way way too long to post, but I could drive it in about 30 minutes if I needed to.

Dave, they grow up fast huh? I remember when Sam was born. It doesn't seem he's old enough for school yet.

Ya I could see kevin doing that !! I am just waiting for him to come home and tell me that he wants to take his truck to show and tell !! I would do it for him to, but the truck is in millions of peices !! Kevin has started to go and ask Jenna, to get him parts from my LMC book, and he always seems to know just what I need ! I think she is catching on !!:p

Kids are great. My 8 year old son is always looking at the local publication Wheel Deals for 67-72 trucks, blazers, and burbs. He is always telling me what truck he saw today for sale or driving down the road. He thinks we can afford to buy a new 67-72 every week. (Bills what are those) Actually I would buy one every week but the wife might get a tad mad. Anyway you gotta start them young.
