My 67 needs front disc brakes and have some questions.

I would like to keep the 6 lug bolt pattern. When you buy a 6 lug kit does it make your front tires wider apart? What about if you go to a 5 lug from a donor 71-71?Why can't you use everything from a 5 lug donor except find a 6 lug rotor?Reason i ask is i have a GMC donor but i would have to have 2 new 5 lug chrome ralleys and try to find them to match rear 6 lugs.

6-lug rotors can be added to your donor 71-72 front suspension.
They will be wider than the stock 6-lug drum suspension,... but no wider than the 5-lug suspension.
Aftermarket 6-lug rotors are just "blank" rotors drilled to the 6x5.5" bolt pattern.

Re: My 67 needs front disc brakes and have some questions.

I think my plan now is to remove complete disc brake crossmember from my donor 72 GMC and put it in my 67 and then order aftermarket 6 lug rotors.I read somewhere that some rims would not fit on brake side when you converted. Here's pictures of mine made in 2006.Will they work?Thanls lowlife!!!

They will work fine to clear the disc brake calipers.
