292 PS brackets that look like alternator brackets?

Hey all. I know the I-6 questions of late are possibly getting a little tiresome but I'm curious if anyone else has encountered the style of PS bracket that looks just like an setup for alternators. I took 2 off of trucks here last summer and haven't heard about them since.

Thanks,

Greg

Post Brackets

They look like alternator brackets because that is what they are,the power steering pump bolts onto the top of it with another bracket.
JJR posted some pics on the parts board of three differant setups.the one on the right side looks like the brackets you are talking about, there are 3 pieces to that setup.

That is what I used on my truck, the alternator bracket would not bolt up to the head,it hit the exhaust so I cut off the part of the bracket that bolts it to the head.
What was left of the bracket I bolted right onto my old alternator bracket.
Bolted the pump onto that bracket with the pump bracket then I had to make a brace that goes from the front of the pump to the front of the head.
And had to put on a 2 groove water pump pully.
