Looked at a 67 today
This is one of the cleanist all original trucks I have seen in a long time, it is super straight, the cab suports are rotted and the frame is rusty but the body pannels are not .the inside of the bed is like new because it has had a cap/camper on the bed since 1968. he is askin 3500 for the truck, think its worth it ?

Re: Looked at a 67 today
Those are add-ons from somebody somewhere. Nice looking truck but I would be a little careful with the rust you described - finding a donor or doing the body work is not easy or cheap.

Re: Looked at a 67 today
Up here, for $3500 it would already be sitting in my driveway

Re: Looked at a 67 today
Have to agree, for your neck of the woods I'm surprised he's not asking 5Kfor it. If it runs and drives I would buy it.

Re: Looked at a 67 today
Nice looking truck. Being from Jersey I can't believe the lack of rust on this one. If it's just the cab supports I would buy it in a heartbeat if I was you.

Re: Looked at a 67 today
Looks like a pretty nice survivor. By frame rust, I assume you mean surface rust? $3000 to $3500 doesn't seek out of line to me.
