Did you figure out which "width" rearend was under it?
My guess would be the wider version.

I was tied up all day yesterday with house stuff, and it was raining all day. I haven't really had a lot of time to do anything with it. Dad took it to his place for now, just to clean and detail it up a little. I think he's going to put valve cover gaskets on it and just piddle with it.
I'll measure the rear housing the next time I'm up that way.
