Front diff oil capacity?
Stupid question: Can anyone tell me what front axle I have and how much oil it takes? '73 K20...it has 10 bolts on the cover.

Should be a Dana 44. Least my '73 K-20 was. Not sure on the capacity, bought my gear oil by the case, maybe qt and a half?

mine took 2 and a half quarts IIRC
I bought 7 bottles of the Lucas synthetic 80-90 on sale for $6 a bottle |
