Help me choose?
I designed a simply pattern and are ready to glue on.
Which one looks better? A. Pleated area on top. B. Pleaded area on bottom.

Re: Help me choose?
Wow nice replys, so far top looks like it, but I'll wait to end of day... I'm still undecided, I understand I can do what ever way I like, then again nice to see votes...I'll go with votes....

Re: Help me choose?
Top because I think the pleats on bottom may get more dirt in them over time and be easier to clean and see being on top. Top is my vote.

Re: Help me choose?
I need some just like your design on the bottom, except for a 68 door panel. It mocks a 68 impala SS design which is what I am implementing in the design of my truck interior.
So I vote bottom.

Well I had no idea that it is the design used on SS Impala or close. When I was at the shop I just drew it out with chauk on my old door panel material so they sewed it that way.Your 68 panel would be the same, feel free to copy photo and take it in and show them if it's what you like and close enough to the SS design, although I'm sure you can get a photo of original SS design...

Re: Help me choose?
I'd say top. When the door is closed the design on the bottom would all be hiding behind the seat, and you would just have a plain smooth area.

Re: Help me choose?
Very cool, getting lots of tops and the bottoms are catching up. Good points, like viewing it with the door shut...never thought of that....maybe someone in photoshop can do a mock up with views.....

But that's just me. The real answer is what do you like and then go with it.
