Lift Kit for two wheel drive '71 2500?
Our youth group recently purchased a 1971 GMC 2500 long bed with a 350 and standard tranny for a tailgating/parade vehicle in our little Texas town of Bellville (pop. 3,500). Our goal is to put a 3"-6" lift kit on it but we're hitting a road block in that it's not a 4x4 and it's not new enough for there to be a kit that is made specifically for this year.
We're going for a suspension lift over a body lift BTW. Anybody able to point me in the right direction here? Thanks! JB |

Probably easier to swap to a solid axle set-up to get that much lift.
